I lived in eight countries and explored many more before I discovered the Sunshine Coast. But 40 years searching for the world's best lifestyle destination weren't wasted because now I've found it I'm not leaving. Which is lucky since excess baggage, including one husband and three children, makes going anywhere a military operation these days.

The Sunshine Coast is where my heart and my soul is. I have been a Marriage Celebrant now for 16 years, and love Sunshine Coast weddings. Here on the Sunshine Coast couples are often looking for an ‘elegant beach wedding’ or something ‘simple & relaxed with a bit of humour’ – just my style!

So when I moved to the Sunshine Coast (Buderim) with my family some years ago, I became obsessed with seeking out fresh regional produce. I love food, I adore cooking, I am passionate about farming and am fascinated by the wonderfully diverse farming and food producing community that we have on the Sunshine Coast.

Once I left my floating home, I spent the next part of my life working in tourism from Hawaii to the Caribbean. It was 1992 when I first came to Australia as a visitor. I remember driving through Buderim and saying “I wish I could live here one day”. Now I do.
